Colour is showing some signs of maturity (reddish brick in colour). Dry with some over mature plum, dried cherry, and a touch of fig on the palate. Med + acidity and med tannins (still not fully resolved). The tannins add a nice bite and keeps this wine alive. Finish is dried fruit. Went very well with mild Italian sausages, Parmesan polenta and baked fennel (869 views) |
