Tasted by Vindraken on 1/8/2022 & rated 87 points: Seems to have peaked 2-3 years ago (715 views)
Tasted by cos65 on 10/16/2018: Served blind
Pale gold
Initially the nose was quite ripe with some white peach and pear, almost as aromatic as a Riesling, but this very quickly faded to almost nothing
Then bone dry, light acidity and very plush and easy on the palate with light melon flavors. Definitely ready to drink and I’d consider drinking soon while it’s fresh as it doesn’t have too much backbone and may soon just taste more dull. Clearly not Côte d’Or, but nice and easy (1670 views)
Tasted by wineismylife on 5/30/2016 & rated 90 points: WIML90

Tasted non blind.

Straw to yellow color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of matchstick, yellow pears and wet stones. Flavors of pears, lemon and a hint of cinnamon. Medium acidity, medium to full bodied. Drink over the short term. (4056 views)
Tasted by jocelyng on 5/23/2016 & rated 89 points: Paired nicely with very spicy food. Good balance between fruits, acidity and oak. Not a wow wine but a great food wine. 89-90. (3335 views)
Tasted by jocelyng on 4/8/2016 & rated 89 points: Nice balance. Lacks power to be rated outstanding. (3398 views)
Tasted by Bandreas on 11/13/2015 & rated 83 points: Drank at Maurice Bolduc's hunting camp in quebec.
I was disappointed in this wine: It lacked depth and charm.
Id did have a certain minerality, but the finish was rather short and a tad on the bitter side. Cork very inferior for a wine of this supposed quality
Maurice liked it a lot, though.. (3407 views)
(2898 views)
Tasted by Omar Khayyam on 9/12/2015: Sortimentsprovning Johan Lidby Vinhandel; 9/10/2015-9/12/2015 (at their office.): Very fresh and pure, fruit driven wine. recommended. (2209 views)
Tasted by cos65 on 8/26/2015: Pale gold. Some pear and bitter lemon flavors. Finishes a bit off balance (1353 views)
Tasted by Claret & CdP Gang on 8/21/2015 & rated 92 points: Pale yellow with a beautuful floral nose of honey and bees wax. Delicious fresh crisp elegant on the palate (1303 views)
Tasted by olalar on 7/28/2015 & rated 89 points: Consistent notes to previous bottle but does not shine like some of the earlier vintages. (1058 views)
Tasted by olalar on 5/25/2015 & rated 90 points: Citrus and minerals in nose. Juicy fruit good balance and great length in mount. Oak is nicely integrated. A superb wine. (996 views)
Tasted by TightLettuce on 4/27/2015 & rated 91 points: Soft and fluffy with a mineral finish. Not a lot of sharp fruit on either the nose or palate. Very much my style of white (1376 views)
Tasted by NickBurwood on 9/30/2014 & rated 87 points: Conservative Party Conference, Birmingham. Minimal note taking.
Rounded melon, with green asparagus and some citrus acid spine. Needs a bit more grip to create excitement. Drink over the next year or so. (1499 views)
Tasted by demiurg on 12/14/2013 & rated 89 points: pleasant to drink now; not complex or long, but balanced and lean, a fine Chardonnay (1780 views)
Tasted by StefanAkiko on 11/10/2013 & rated 89 points: Yellow.
M+ size nose of Chard on oak.
Palate is citrusy fruity with just enough acidic backbone to keep it interesting. Fatty mouth feel, good length, young and promising. Has toffee besides the primary aromas and some oak.
Married the cream-sauce superbly cooked omar.
Wife: "preferred style over Chablis, 92p"
Service from Madame at Le Message's special "birthday dinner" (Yokohama).

Update
If Neal Martin had been there waving his 94p-flag at the event, we'd been ROTFL... The wine is very good, but not f-good. (2314 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
