This is a really good, typical Langhe Nebbiolo. It tastes just like it should. If you open it now-ish, you should do what I didn't: open, wait a few hours, and then pour. It starts out a bit fizzy, and a bit weird. It needs either air, or more time in the bottle (1940 views) | ||||

A light blend of pinot noir and gamay, which tastes exactly as you'd expect: strawberries, rhubarb, and light tannins. It's not sweet by any means, but it is delicious in a fairly restrained manner. Upon opening, it smells and tastes a bit funky. 30 minutes of air dealt with all that, leaving a light wine that begins with inoffensive berries, but then has an unexpectedly complex middle, and a long, fairly tannic, and slightly bitter end.
